We are taking a three-week break from our study of Matthew to look at the necessary beliefs, character, and responsibilities of our future elders and deacons. After that time, our members will have the opportunity to nominate men whom they believe to meet all the qualifications for possibly serving in these roles. We will then begin a process of examining and training the qualified nominees as we move toward ordaining the men who will be Good Shepherd’s first elders and deacons.
